Not only focused on producing premium combi ovens and holding cabinets Unox are also committed to reducing environmental impact and reducing their carbon footprint whether that's throughout production, during distribution or that of the end user operating their Unox equipment on a daily basis. The development of the new UK Experience Centre represents a "multi-million pound investment project that started just over 18 months ago"*. Utilising 287 photovoltaic panels mounted on the roof of the centre that produce up to 100kW of power per hour, any energy drawn from the grid is offset in a significant stride towards Unox becoming carbon neutral by 2030. Any residual energy supplies are taken from 100% renewable sources including wind, solar and hydropower. The building structure itself is also designed to be as efficient as possible to further energy savings.
