A Word From Our MD

"Hello and welcome to FFD Catering Equipment, a business I am proud to call 'the UK’s premier commercial catering equipment experts'.

 

We have been operating online for many years but in fact our commercial catering equipment pedigree dates back much further to the mid 90’s. In this time we have had the pleasure of advising, specifying and supplying commercial catering equipment to 10’s of thousands of businesses across mainland UK, into Europe and indeed much further afield. Over this time we as a company have continually strived to learn, develop and grow into the business you see before you today. The main pillars of our business are Quality Commercial Equipment, Value for Money and A1 Customer Service.

Ultimately, the success of FFD Catering Equipment is easy for me to quantify. It is solely based on the sublime efforts and dedication of our staff who are committed to making FFD Catering Equipment a business where customers can feel assured that both honest, impartial expert advice and the very best of customer service are paramount.

At the beginning of 2019 I had the pleasure of being interviewed by a major industry publication, Catering Insight, where areas of discussion focused on our journey as a company so far, the current climate online for commercial refrigeration and catering equipment sector and my vision for the continued success and future of the FFD Group. Our History

Fridge Freezer Direct Ltd has been trading online for over 10 years. While we remain Fridge Freezer Direct Ltd. we now trade and are recognised as FFD Commercial Refrigeration and FFD Catering Equipment. We believe that this allows us to offer a more comprehensive service to our customers that individually addresses every aspect of a hospitality and foodservice establishment.

Our director and some of our long serving staff have over 20 years of experience in the commercial refrigeration, catering equipment industry and grease management solutions and use this knowledge to fulfil our mission to become the Number One online authority in our sector. We believe in offering all our customers, old and new, free, impartial advice plus genuine value for money and the best price possible on all our products.

With Circa 13,000 products sourced from over 30 different manufacturers and distributors, we are confident we have everything you could possibly need for your business. Our loyal customer base includes restaurants, bars, bistros and many, many other similar establishments from all corners of the country. We are also proud to have served many public sector organisations from police forces, MOD and hospital facilities all over the UK. Hailing from Barwell, Leicestershire, we are perfectly situated in the middle of the country

Our Suppliers

We source our extensive range of products from a wide range of suppliers and manufacturers. From entry level products to some of the biggest names in the food service equipment arena, we can cater for every budget. Our strong relationships with the likes of Rational, Synergy and Meiko and many more quality manufacturers allow us to offer our customers superior advice, products, and support all with great prices.

The majority of our suppliers are based in the UK ensuring that delivery is swift, and our customers receive their orders in the shortest time possible. While we mainly distribute to the UK mainland, we are able to (and have previously) shipped to Europe and elsewhere in the world. If you need help shipping equipment worldwide, get in touch. Our Management

FFD Catering Equipment has continually developed the internal management structure to ensure each and every department has clear direction and purpose.
