Fish kettles are stainless steel rectangular tins with rounded ends designed to hold whole fish. Typically, supplied with fitted lids and drainer plates, fish can be gently removed to retain the original form without flaking even after cooking.
Poachers specifically for eggs provide a base pan to hold boiling water and specially designed egg slots to achieve perfectly formed results.
Bamboo steamers offer a traditional Chinese steaming method typically for fish, vegetables, buns, dumplings, rice or pancakes. Typically with twin tiers and a lid, the steamer is placed over a wide pan or wok of boiling water, the lattice bases allowing the steam to rise through the layers without heavily boiling or scorching the foods.
